In the sound objects from the series Infrasonic Textures, the membrane of a loudspeaker is stimulated using infrasound (frequencies imperceptible to the human ear). These vibrations cause small glass beads on the membrane surface to move and produce various rhythmical sound figures on the basis of the frequency range between 5 and 16 Hz as well as the crescendos/decrescendos in the infrasonic composition.
